Training Intensif CCNP
Program ini ditujukan kepada para praktisi jaringan komputer yang telah memiliki sertifikasi CCNA atau telah mengikuti program training CCNA Fasttrack atau Cisco Networking Academy Program serta berkeinginan untuk mendalami teknologi jaringan komputer berbasis Cisco Devices. Program Training CCNP yang diselenggarakan oleh NetCampus Training Center dikemas dalam paket program yang dinamakan Program Intensif CCNP.
Program Intensif CCNP adalah program training CCNP yang menggabungkan 3 modul training CCNP (Routing, Switching, dan Troubleshooting) dalam 1 (satu) paket program training. Program ini berlangsung selama 3,5 bulan, dimana training diselenggarakan dengan mengkombinasikan metode presentasi, simulasi konfigurasi router dengan memanfaatkan software simulator, serta praktek langsung dengan perangkat jaringan berbasis Cisco Devices seperti Cisco Router 2600 dan 3600 serta Cisco Switch Catalyst 2900(Layer 2) dan 3550 (Layer 3).

Ada banyak sertifikasi kompetensi IT dengan skala internasional untuk
pelbagai bidang teknologi informasi. Salah satu yang cukup terkenal adalah
sertifikasi internasional yang biasa disebut sebagai Cisco Certified.
Sertifikasi ini dikeluarkan oleh vendor teknologi jaringan komputer ternama
Cisco System sebagai bukti keahlian si pemiliknya dalam menangani jaringan
komputer sesuai dengan kualifikasi yang ditentukan oleh sertifikasi tsb.
Secara umum Cisco Certified terbagi menjadi 3 jenjang kualifikasi,
yaitu : Associate, Professional, dan Expert. Associate adalah jenjang awal
seseorang SDM IT dalam menapaki karir sebagai Network Engineer berbasiskan
perangkat jaringan Cisco System. Professional adalah tingkat lanjutan
(advanced) bagi seorang Network Engineer dalam menguasai keahlian jaringan
komputer. Sedangkan Expert adalah tingkatan paling tinggi dalam jenjang
sertifikasi Cisco yang menyatakan bahwa pemiliknya memiliki keahlian jaringan komputer
dengan kualifikasi pakar.
Untuk jenjang Associate, sertifikasi Cisco yang dapat dimiliki adalah
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan
sertifikasi CCNA berikutnya yang mengarah pada salah satu spesialisasi jaringan
komputer yaitu : CCNA Voice, CCNA Security, dan CCNA Wireless. Untuk
mendapatkan CCNA Anda dapat mengikuti terlebih dahulu training yang
diselenggarakan oleh Cisco Networking Academy atau Cisco Learning Partner dan
melanjutkannya dengan ujian sertifikasi. Selain CCNA sertifikasi lain yang
masuk dalam jenjang ini adalah CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate).
Pada jenjang berikutnya yaitu Professional, sertifikasi yang paling
populer dimiliki adalah CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional). Sertifikasi
ini menyatakaan bahwa pemiliknya memiliki pengetahuan dan keahlian yang
diperlukan untuk menginstalasi, mengkonfigurasi, dan melakukan troubleshooting
jaringan LAN / WAN dengan jumlah antara 100 sampai dengan 500 buah perangkat
jaringan. Untuk memilikinya disyaratkan yang bersangkutan telah memiliki
CCNA.Pada level professional selain CCNP juga ada sertifikasi lain yang
memiliki jenjang yang sama yaitu : CCDP, CCIP, CCSP, dan CCVP.
Jenjang paling puncak adalah Expert, pada jenjang ini pemiliki
sertifikat dinyatakan sebagai pakat dalam teknologi jaringan sesuai dengan
kualifikasi yang tertera dalam sertifikat tsb. Nama sertifikatnya adalah CCIE
(Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). Berbeda dengan sertifikat sebelumnya
yang diperoleh dengan basis tes yang sifatnya tertulis maka pada ujian
sertifikasi CCIE selain tertulis (written) juga praktek langsung (lab) sehingga
tingkat kesulitannya lebih tinggi.
CCIE atau Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert merupakan tingkat
sertifikasi jaringan computer tertinggi dari perusahaan teknologi Cisco Systems
dan dikenal memiliki sistem uji yang ketat. Sertifikasi ini merupakan jaminan
bagi seseorang yang memiliki keahlian khusus dalam bidang networking dan ada
delapan sertifikat CCIE yang bisa dipilih para professional TI sesuai kebutuhan
pekerjaannya.
Untuk mendapatkan satu sertifikasi CCIE saja sangat sulit diraih,
meski begitu ada orang Indonesia yang memiliki tiga sertifikasi tersebut, salah
satunya adalah Himawan Nugroho.
Himawan mendapatkan gelar sebagai ‘orang Indonesia pertama pemegang
tiga sertifikasi CCIE’ pada tahun 2007 dan hingga kini hanya ada dua orang
Indonesia dari sekitar 400 orang di dunia yang memiliki sertifikasi triple
CCIE.
Sertifikat pertamanya diperoleh di Jepang pada September 2011 untuk
kategori Routing dan Switching, yang kedua adalah CCIE security yang diperoleh
di Belgia, Januari 2006, dan yang ketiga untuk kategori Service Provider yang
diperoleh di Belgia, September 2007.
Menurut Himawan, untuk mendapatkan sertifikasi ini, setiap peserta uji
harus duduk delapan jam di depan computer dalam sebuah laboratorium dan terbagi
dalam berbagai sesi, setiap peserta juga diharuskan untuk menjawab minimal 80%
untuk sesinya. Hal ini diungkapkan ketika ia membagi pengalaman di kampus Bina
Nusantara Syahdan Jakarta pada hari Selasa, 27 Maret 2012.
Ia melanjutkan bahwa faktor waktu dan ketatnya tes menjadi penyebab
sedikitnya peserta yang bisa lulus dan mendapatkan sertifikat CCIE. Dari
pengalamannya di Jepang, ia menuturkan bahwa dari 7 orang yang mengikuti tes,
hanya dirinya yang lulus dan mendapatkan sertifikat tersebut.
Sebelum mengikuti tes CCIE, para peserta harus mengikuti tes computer
base sehingga hasil tesnya dapat didaftarkan ke website Cisco untuk proses
kualifikasi. Untuk yang memenuhi kualifikasi, peserta akan mendapatkan
kesempatan untuk mendaftar tes di negara-negara terdekat yang mengadakan tes
CCIE. Peserta yang sudah terdaftar, harus datang ke negara penyelenggara untuk
mengikuti tes selama 8 jam tersebut.
Hingga kini, Himawan yang telah berkecimpung di dunia teknologi ini
telah mengunjungi 30 negara untuk mengerjakan beragam proyek. Kesempatan
tersebut bisa didapatkan setelah dia mengantongi triple CCIE dan sekarang
Himawan menetap di Dubai dan bekerja sebagai Technical Adviser Cisco System
untuk Cisco EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
Himawan mengandakan kunjungan pribadi selama lima hari di Indonesia,
dalam rangka acara Indonesia Networkers 2012. Ia mengungkapkan bahwa ia ingin
membagikan pengalamannya tentang bagaimana bersaing di pasar global dan bekerja
di perusahaan besar dunia dan bagaimana menjadi orang Indonesia yang memiliki
daya saing di dunia.
Sertifikasi CCIE sendiri ada 8 track yang bisa diambil. Tiap track ada
2 langkah yang harus dilalui. Pertama, kandidat harus lulus dari ujian tertulis
terkomputerisasi selama 2 jam, mirip dengan ujian tertulis di level associate
dan profesional. Lalu setelah lulus ujian tertulis, dalam jangka waktu 18
bulan, harus menjadwalkan dan lulus ujian praktik (lab). CCIE harus diresertifikasi
setiap 24 bulan (2 tahun) sekali dengan cara ujian tertulis (CCIE Written),
atau mengambil ujian level expert di track lainnya, termasuk CCDE.
